Legacy is a perfect 9-0 against Mojave since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Longhorns are taking a road trip to challenge the Rattlers at 6:00 p.m. Legacy will be strutting in after a victory while Mojave will be coming in after a defeat.

Legacy took a loss when they played away from home last Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They blew past Sunrise Mountain 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Longhorns in their matchups with the Miners: they've now won five in a row.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-20, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Mojave came up short against Mater Academy East Las Vegas on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Rattlers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-22, 16-25, 25-11.

Legacy's victory bumped their record up to 9-17. As for Mojave, their loss dropped their record down to 10-16.

Legacy was able to grind out a solid win over Mojave when the teams last played back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Longhorns since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
