Basketball Recap: Michael White and Rodrick Winston Secure Win for Uplift

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Uplift had no problem doing just that on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Kelvyn Park Panthers, sneaking past 52-50. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Titans have posted since December 5, 2024.

Uplift was led to victory by Rodrick Winston and Michael White. Winston posted 20 points, while White scored 12 points and three steals. With that strong performance, Winston is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Another player making a difference was Tysean Davis, who put up nine points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.

Uplift's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Kelvyn Park, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-7.

Uplift will be playing at home against Collins at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kelvyn Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
