Basketball Recap: New Diana Takes a Loss

New Diana lost against Waskom last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The New Diana Eagles took a 59-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Waskom Wildcats. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New Diana's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Waskom, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

New Diana wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 64-26 win against King's Academy on the 13th. As for Waskom, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-45 loss against Union Grove on the 13th.
