Softball Game Preview: Stratford Red Devils vs. Immaculate Mustangs

Stratford is 1-7 against Immaculate since May of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Red Devils will be playing at home against the Mustangs at 4:15 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Stratford came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-3 to Masuk.

Ashlyn Tracy made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Immaculate came up short against New Milford on Monday, falling 19-3. The Mustangs have struggled against the Green Wave recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Immaculate saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caroline Murray, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Stratford's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Immaculate, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.
