Basketball Game Preview: Lancaster Eagles vs. Littlerock Lobos

Lancaster hasn't had much luck against Littlerock recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Lancaster Eagles will welcome the Littlerock Lobos at 6:30 p.m.

Lancaster is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They had to suffer through a 74-47 loss at the hands of Quartz Hill. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 792nd, while the Royals are ranked 318th).

Meanwhile, Littlerock had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 54-43.

Littlerock pushed their record up to 18-6 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.1 points per game. As for Lancaster, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-15.

Lancaster took a serious blow against Littlerock when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 66-34. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Littlerock's Chailyn Finley, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and 11 rebounds.
