Baseball Recap: Albemarle Comes Up Short

Albemarle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 15-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Rowan Cavaliers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 15-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Albemarle's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for North Rowan, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Albemarle will head out to take on Montgomery Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Rowan, they will head out on the road to face off against Albemarle at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
