Game recap: Virginia Episcopal School wins against Hargrave Military Academy

CHATHAM, Va. - Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, Va.) bested Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, Va.) 41-25.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Ronnie Stringfield in the second quarter, the Bishops led 21-19 at the half.

Virginia Episcopal School grew its lead to 16 points entering the fourth quarter. VES scored two times in the third, including once on a kick return touchdown by Stringfield.

A 30-0 Virginia Episcopal School victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.

The win was a nice bounce back for the Bishops, who lost to Atlantic Shores Christian last week, 39-17.
