Football Recap: Pawhuska Finds Playoff Glory Versus Panama

With a playoff win on the line, Pawhuska rose to the challenge on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 48-6 win over the Panama Razorbacks. Considering the Huskies have won seven contests by more than 31 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Pawhuska was led to victory by Vann Wildcat and Kane Foreman. Wildcat gained 71 total yards and three touchdowns, while Foreman threw for 188 yards and one touchdown while completing 92.3% of his passes. Wildcat is also on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Pawhuska didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dakaraii Stewart and Corlin Cass.

The victory (which was Pawhuska's fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.5 points on average over those games. As for Panama, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Pawhuska will head out on the road to challenge Wynnewood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Huskies will need to watch out since the Savages have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups. Panama does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
