Maxwell won the last time they faced Wagon Mound and things went their way on Monday too. The Maxwell Bears breezed past the Wagon Mound Trojans to the tune of 85-58. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 24 points or more this season.

Wagon Mound lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Josiah Vasquez, who posted 15 points. Eugene Armijo was another key player, putting up 13 points.

The win (which was Maxwell's fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.3 points over those games. As for Wagon Mound, they dropped their record down to 4-13 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Maxwell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 63-52 defeat against Cimarron on the 15th. As for Wagon Mound, they have also already played their next game, a 54-35 loss against Des Moines on the 14th.
