Hickman County entered their tilt with Hampshire on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 9-3 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2023.

Hickman County pushed their record up to 9-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Hampshire, they moved to 15-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
