Larned extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 11-8 in the process. Everything went their way against the Russell Broncos as they made off with a 13-3 win. The Indians not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 4th (when they won 18-6).

As for Russell, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. The contest marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

For Russell's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Daryss Barrera, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Larned beat the Broncos by a score of 12-2 later that day.
