Miller County has not done well against Marion County recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Miller County Pirates won by a run and slipped past the Marion County Eagles 7-6. This was payback for the Pirates, who suffered a 10-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Autumn Chapman made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off nine hits. Chapman was also big at the plate, going 3-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles.
