The West Orange Warriors will take on the Olympia Titans at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (West Orange has three straight victories, Olympia has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
West Orange's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-0 win over Apopka. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by exactly three runs.

| 02/29/24 @ Edgewater | 11 |

| 03/18/24 vs Foundation Academy | 8 |
| 03/26/24 @ Ocoee | 6 |
Not much got past Parker Hohnstock, who gave up just three hits and racked up 14 Ks to keep Apopka off the board. The dominant performance gave Hohnstock a new career-high in strikeouts.
At the plate, West Orange saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Goodmon, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Goodmon also put up a double, which was his first of the season.
Meanwhile, Olympia started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Timber Creek. They fell 8-3 to the Wolves on Wednesday.
Ethan Rathmann was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run.
West Orange pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Olympia, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. West Orange has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Olympia struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.3 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
West Orange came up short against Olympia when the teams last played back in April of 2024, falling 6-2. Can West Orange avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
