Soccer Recap: Life Oak Cliff Comes Up Short

After soaring to 16 goals the game before, Life Oak Cliff was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They came up short against the Village Tech Viper Squid, falling 4-1. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Viper Squid earlier this season, when they won 6-0.

Life Oak Cliff's goal came courtesy of Noemi Vanegas, who's now up to three this season.

Life Oak Cliff's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three contests. As for Village Tech, they pushed their record up to 6-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Life Oak Cliff will host Williams Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Village Tech, they will venture away from home to challenge Summit International Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
