Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Plainview). They blew past the Elkhorn Valley Falcons 63-20 on Friday. With the Pirates ahead 56-20 at the half, the game was all but over already.

While passing duties were split, you can't argue with the impact Gage Walton and Kobe Maertins both made on the matchup. Walton gained 190 total yards and six touchdowns while Maertins rushed for 61 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. Walton got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 65 yards.
