Basketball Game Preview: West Rowan Falcons vs. North Rowan Cavaliers

The West Rowan Falcons will take on the North Rowan Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Wednesday, West Rowan strolled past East Rowan with points to spare, taking the game 59-45.

Meanwhile, North Rowan was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 75-69 to North Stanly. While losing is never fun, the Cavaliers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 366th, while the Comets are ranked 118th).

North Rowan's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for West Rowan, their win bumped their record up to 3-9.

Things could have been worse for West Rowan, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 74-55 loss to North Rowan when the teams last played back in December of 2024.
