Soccer Recap: Orlando Christian Prep Comes Up Short

After flying high against Innovation Montessori last Tuesday, Orlando Christian Prep came back down to earth. The Orlando Christian Prep Warriors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Orlando Science Orcas on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 592nd, while the Orcas are ranked 255th).

Orlando Christian Prep has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Orlando Science, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5-5 record this season.

Orlando Christian Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Orlando Science, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Pinecrest Lakes Prep at 6:00 p.m. Orlando Science is facing Pinecrest Lakes Prep at the right time seeing as Pinecrest Lakes Prep is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
