Basketball Game Preview: Jones County Greyhounds vs. Lee County Trojans

The Jones County Greyhounds will take on the Lee County Trojans at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Jones County had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 62-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Warner Robins.

Loss or not, Jones County got some senior leadership from Aubrey Norris and Kamiyah Adams. Norris posted 17 points in addition to five assists and four steals, while Adams dropped a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds. Adams is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last four games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Liberty Pennamon, who scored eight points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Lee County put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 47-41 W against Dothan.
