Softball Recap: De Leon Gets the Win

De Leon took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Graford, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. De Leon skirted past Graford 12-11. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bearcats considering their two-run performance the match before.

De Leon's record now sits at 7-5. As for Graford, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as De Leon Bearcats challenge Santo Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Santo has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.07 runs per game on average), something De Leon will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Graford, they will square off against Lipan at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
