Volleyball Game Preview: Apple Valley Sun Devils vs. Oak Hills Bulldogs + Official Tickets

Apple Valley hasn't had much luck against Oak Hills recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Sun Devils will face off against the Bulldogs at 5:15 p.m.

On Monday, Apple Valley came up short against Sultana and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16, 19-25, 25-16.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Oak Hills and Hesperia, and Oak Hills kept the tradition alive. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Scorpions with a sharp 3-0 victory on Monday. The Bulldogs not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since November 9, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

While Oak Hills won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17, 25-22.

Oak Hills' win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 9-19. As for Apple Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 10-15.

Apple Valley couldn't quite get it done against Oak Hills in their previous matchup two weeks ago as they fell 3-1. Can the Sun Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
