Basketball Game Preview: Tuscaloosa Home Educators Warriors vs. Starkville Christian Cougars

The Tuscaloosa Home Educators Warriors will take on the Starkville Christian Cougars in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Starkville Christian took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Tuscaloosa Home Educators, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Tuscaloosa Home Educators turned things around against North River Christian on Monday. They breezed by the Chargers to the tune of 68-27. That 41 point margin sets a new team best for the Warriors this season.

It was another big night for Caleb Farley, who posted 27 points. Another player making a difference was Brooks Glisson, who had 13 points.

Meanwhile, Starkville Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch back in November as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 44-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hatley.

Starkville Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Tuscaloosa Home Educators, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.
