Basketball Recap: Firebaugh Comes Up Short

Firebaugh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt an 85-34 defeat at the hands of the Warren Bears. The game marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Warren's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jay'Mari Redmond, who went 7 for 13 en route to 17 points along with five rebounds and five steals. The dominant performance gave Redmond a new career-high in steals. King Johnson was another key player, going 6 of 8 on his way to 16 points.

Firebaugh's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Warren, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

Firebaugh will take on Norwalk at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Warren, they will face off against Artesia at 8:00 a.m. on Monday.
