Soccer Recap: Atkins Starts off Right with Win over Ambassador Christian School

Atkins had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Ambassador Christian School Lions on Friday, sneaking past 2-1.

William Roehrenbeck and Jordan Lewis scored both of Atkins' goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Ambassador Christian School's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Atkins will host Parkland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ambassador Christian School, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge North Hills Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
