Softball Recap: James Madison Continues Home Dominance on Friday

James Madison had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They never let the Oakton Cougars get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Warhawks, who have now won 13 games by six runs or more so far this season.

James Madison pushed their record up to 21-2 with the win, which was their 24th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Oakton, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.
