Basketball Recap: Luverne Comes Up Short

Luverne lost against Charles Henderson back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Luverne Tigers lost 63-37 to the Charles Henderson Trojans. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Luverne's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Charles Henderson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Luverne will take on New Brockton in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Charles Henderson, they will host Barbour County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
