The Roosevelt Roughriders are taking a road trip to take on the Mountain View Mountain Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Roosevelt has three straight victories, Mountain View has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Roosevelt's offense will try to repeat the strong performance it gave on Thursday, when they got past Thompson Valley's usually-dominant defense. The Roughriders walked away with a 34-22 win over the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Mountain View played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Severance, falling 41-7. The Mountain Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-0.

Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Mountain View, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Roosevelt came up short against Mountain View when the teams last played back in November of 2024, falling 32-22.
