Baseball Recap: Colonial Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Colonial's offense. They lost 10-0 to the South Lake Eagles on Friday. The Grenadiers have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Colonial's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for South Lake, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Coming up, Colonial will challenge Evans at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Colonial is facing Evans at the right time seeing as Evans is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for South Lake, they will take on Apopka at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Lake's pitchers better be ready for this one: Apopka has averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
