Hayden lost to Mogollon on Friday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Lobos were the clear victors by a 13-5 margin over the Mustangs. The result was nothing new for the Lobos, who have now won 12 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Hayden is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Mogollon, they moved to 16-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Hayden will head out on the road to face off against Florence at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Gophers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Lobos' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
