Volleyball Recap: Somerset Academy Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

The Somerset Academy Panthers were able to grind out a solid win over the Somerset Academy Central Miramar Warriors on Wednesday, taking the game 3-1.

In the three sets Somerset Academy was on fire: they won each by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-15, 17-25, 25-10.

Somerset Academy had a senior duo take command as Jorge Molina had 30 assists and Joshua George hit 96% for 24 kills and four aces and two blocks. Those 24 kills set a new season-high mark for George.

Somerset Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 25 aces. They are 5-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Somerset Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season. As for Somerset Academy Central Miramar, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Somerset Academy nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
