The Oakland Patriots will face off against the Riverdale Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Oakland is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.

While Oakland's win against Rockvale wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Patriots' pitchers stepped up to hand Rockvale a 2-0 shutout on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with Rockvale: they've now won six in a row.

The team relied heavily on Jazmyne Watkins, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Oakland hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rockvale struck out ten times.

Meanwhile, Riverdale didn't have quite enough to beat Rockvale on Tuesday and fell 7-6.

Riverdale's loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Oakland, their win bumped their record up to 18-4-2.

Everything went Oakland's way against Riverdale when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Oakland made off with a 7-1 victory. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
