Baseball Recap: Caro Comes Up Short

Caro lost against Reese on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers fell just short of the Rockets by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by just one run.

Caro saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ramon Zamora Jr, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was Zamora Jr's first of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Caro and nudges their season record down to 18-15-1. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only one runs. As for Reese, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-7-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caro will challenge Bad Axe at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Reese, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Frankenmuth at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
