Baseball Recap: Providence Day Comes Up Short

Providence Day was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Charlotte Christian Knights, falling 8-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Chargers were not able to get on the board.

Providence Day saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rush Adams, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Providence Day's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Charlotte Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Charlotte Christian beat Providence Day by a score of 11-0 on Thursday.
