Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mission Valley). They blew past the Marais des Cygnes Valley Trojans 19-5 on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won six games by nine runs or more so far this season.
Mission Valley got a great performance from Keely Chesmore as she struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits.
