Rowlett extended their winning streak to three on Wednesday, bumping them up to 20-8. They blew past the North Garland Raiders 12-1. Considering the Eagles have won 15 matchups by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Jordan Lupplace was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.
In other batting news, Rowlett let Jordynn Williams and Julissa Casta?eda run wild. Williams went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Casta?eda went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Williams is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Khloe Bravo, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Rowlett kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in nine consecutive contests.
As for North Garland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-20-1. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly 11 runs.
On North Garland's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Britny Tobias, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.
Coming up, Rowlett is taking a road trip to square off against Sachse at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Mustangs have now posted at least ten runs in their last four games. As for North Garland, they will take on Garland at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Owls' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Raiders' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
