Baseball Game Preview: Triton Regional Vikings vs. Pentucket Regional

The Triton Regional Vikings will head out to take on Pentucket Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Triton Regional is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Triton Regional fell victim to Newburyport and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Clippers by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Pentucket Regional suffered their closest defeat since May 4, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of North Reading by a score of 5-3. Pentucket Regional has struggled against North Reading recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Max Cloutier made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.

Triton Regional's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Pentucket Regional, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
