Flag Football Game Preview: Peekskill Red Devils vs. Brewster Bears

The Peekskill Red Devils will head out on the road to take on the Brewster Bears at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Peekskill's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 34-0 victory over Poughkeepsie. The win continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Pioneers: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Brewster made easy work of Carmel on Friday and carried off a 21-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bears' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New York flag football rankings (they are ranked 34th, while the Rams are ranked 224th).

Peekskill's record is now 5-11. As for Brewster, their record now sits at 12-3-1.

Peekskill was taken down by Brewster 31-0 in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Can the Red Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
