Basketball Recap: Oxford Comes Up Short

Oxford lost against Lake Orion back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Oxford Wildcats fell to the Lake Orion Dragons 46-41.

Oxford's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Lake Orion, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7.

Oxford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 56-47 victory against Ferndale on the 7th. As for Lake Orion, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Clarkston at 7:00 p.m. Clarkston is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.8 points per game this season.
