Softball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Washington was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They came up short against the Independence Patriots, falling 15-1. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Independence, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

While Washington had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
