Baseball Game Preview: Garrard County Golden Lions vs. Fleming County Panthers

The Garrard County Golden Lions will challenge the Fleming County Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Garrard County managed to slip by East Jessamine the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Golden Lions lost 11-1 to the Jaguars on Friday.

Garrard County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Korbin Folger, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Fleming County fell victim to Raceland and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Rams, falling 14-0. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Garrard County's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Fleming County, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-13.
