Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Scituate). They walked away with  a   10-5  victory over the Mt. Hope Huskies  on Monday. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Huskies recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive  win against them.
 Victoria Geisser was  incredible,  firing off two  home runs, five  RBI,  and three  runs while going 2-for-4. Those  two  home runs gave  her a new career-high.  Sophia Maggiacomo also deserves some recognition as  she  hit her first  double of the season.
 They weren't the only ones working in the  home run department: Scituate  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've managed all season.
The  victory  got Scituate back to even at 2-2. As for Mt. Hope, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the  loss, which was their seventh straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Coming up, Scituate will square off against Portsmouth at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Spartans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 9.4  runs per game this season. As for Mt. Hope, they will take on Woonsocket at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Huskies are facing the Villa Novans at the right time seeing as the Villa Novans are stuck on  a  five-game losing streak.
