Central Wisconsin Christian waltzed into their contest on Thursday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They came out on top against the Johnson Creek Bluejays by a score of 2-0. The Crusaders were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Bluejays, so the Crusaders were just returning the favor.

While Central Wisconsin Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-13.

Their offense was headlined by Abigail TenNapel and Kiley Beer, who picked up seven kills apiece. They were helped by Kate Westra and Hannah Abel, who contributed eight assists each. Beer also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Lauren Ruis, each putting up two.

Central Wisconsin Christian's victory bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Johnson Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.

Central Wisconsin Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Montello on the 11th. Hopefully Johnson Creek paid attention to the Crusaders' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Crusaders at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
