Volleyball Game Preview: Parkway Central Colts vs. Oakville Tigers

The Parkway Central Colts will venture away from home to square off against the Oakville Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Parkway Central is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Missouri's top teams: Lafayette, who was ranked fifth at the time (Parkway Central was ranked tenth). The Colts fell 3-1 to the Lancers on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Oakville made easy work of Fox on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won seven in a row.

Oakville not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Fox between 16 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16, 25-18.

Parkway Central's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4-1. As for Oakville, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
