There's no place like home for the Calvary Day Cavaliers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Groves on Thursday and snuck past 2-1. For Calvary Day, this counts as revenge for the 2-2 defeat Groves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2023.
The victory got Calvary Day back to even at 4-4-1. As for Groves, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2-3.
Calvary Day will head out on the road to face off against Savannah Country Day at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Savannah Country Day will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Calvary Day surely won't give up without a fight. As for Groves, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Savannah Christian at 7:00 p.m. on March 21st.
