Football Game Preview: Roxbury Latin Foxes vs. New Hampton School Huskies

The Roxbury Latin Foxes will head out on the road to take on the New Hampton School Huskies at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.

Roxbury Latin's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Lawrence Academy on Saturday. They were outmatched by the Spartans and fell 27-0. While losing is never fun, the Foxes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked 209th, while the Spartans are ranked 78th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask New Hampton School). They blew past Proctor Academy 41-0 on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

New Hampton School's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Roxbury Latin, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 1-3.
