Ramsey lost against Lincolnwood back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rams fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 2-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Ramsey sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-17, 21-25, 15-7.

Cali Hill paced Ramsey's offense, picking up three kills. Hill got some help from Audrina Bell and her three assists. Hill was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Lincolnwood was led to victory by Reagan Penrod and Ava Walton. Penrod had eight digs and two aces, while Walton had seven digs.

Ramsey now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Lincolnwood, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Ramsey didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Riverton on the 12th. As for Lincolnwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Lanphier on the 12th.
