Recap: Bradshaw Christian The Pride vs. Union Mine Diamondbacks
The Bradshaw Christian The Pride pushed their score all the way to 70 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Union Mine 76-70. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Friday (60), Bradshaw Christian still had to take the loss.
Bradshaw Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Josh O'neal, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. O'neal has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of AJ Torres, who scored 17 points along with three steals.
Bradshaw Christian's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Union Mine, they pushed their record up to 20-2 with that victory, which was their tenth straight on the road.
Bradshaw Christian will take on El Dorado at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Union Mine, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Galt at 7:00 p.m. Galt is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
