Putnam City North waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 56-48 win over the Putnam City West Patriots. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 66-64 victory the Patriots walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March.

Putnam City North was led to victory by Khai Brown and Tj Mcneely. Brown went 9 of 12 en route to 21 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks, while Mcneely dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Leonard, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten boards.

Putnam City North now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Putnam City West, they moved to 1-1 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
