Volleyball Recap: Lake Holcombe Comes Up Short

Lake Holcombe and Rib Lake squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Lake Holcombe had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Redmen.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-16, 25-12.

Rib Lake can attribute much of their success to Tahlia Scheithauer, who had 12 digs and one assist. Scheithauer is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Lake Holcombe's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Rib Lake, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-8 record this season.

Lake Holcombe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Rib Lake has already played their next contest (against Winter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
