Basketball Recap: Jacob Scarberry and Dean Fillmore Secure Win for Gulf Pointe Latin

The Gulf Pointe Latin Gladiators got the win against the Atmore Christian Rams on Monday by a conclusive 67-45. The Gladiators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Gulf Pointe Latin was led to victory by Dean Fillmore and Jacob Scarberry. Fillmore almost dropped a double-double with 29 points and nine rebounds, while Scarberry shot 4-for-6 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double with 21 points and 14 boards. Thanks to that strong game, Fillmore now owns an excellent 48.8% shooting accuracy.

Gulf Pointe Latin is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.
