Soccer Recap: Crescenta Valley's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Tuesday

Crescenta Valley kept a clean sheet against Arcadia on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Arcadia Apaches. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 199th, while the Apaches are ranked 648th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Solemon Alveno-Donofrio was the driving force of Crescenta Valley's attack as he scored both of Crescenta Valley's goals, bringing his season total up to 12 goals.

Crescenta Valley is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4-1 record this season. As for Arcadia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6-3.

As of now, neither Crescenta Valley nor Arcadia have any future games scheduled.
